    1. Amid airport anger, GOP takes aim at screening, By: Byron York, Washington Examiner, 11/16/10

This week the TSA workers are voting on going all union. Last week the Obama administration authorized TSA workers to become molesters of men, women and children.

There is good news in all this. Based on the law that created the TSA, local airports can opt out of the government corruption and criminal activity and hire private firms to secure the airports. That would mean the molestations will stop and the unions will not control the airports and close them down to gain leverage on union issues.

    "
Did you know that the nation's airports are not required to have Transportation Security Administration screeners checking passengers at security checkpoints? The 2001 law creating the TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a two-year period. Now, with the TSA engulfed in controversy and hated by millions of weary and sometimes humiliated travelers, Rep. John Mica, the Republican who will soon be chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, is reminding airports that they have a choice."

    2. Obamacare: Impact on the Economy, Heritage Foundation, 9/22/10

It is now clear that ObamaCare will kill the economy, along with the elderly and those in need of health care.

"The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), the health care bill signed into law by President Obama in March, will overhaul the current health insurance system by enforcing mandates on individuals and businesses, expanding Medicaid, and introducing new taxes and fines to help pay for the increased “federal budgetary commitment to health care.”
Contrary to a key intention of the legislation, the combination of mandates and taxes will not help to reduce the deficit. In fact, the PPACA will likely increase the deficit by an average $75 billion per year, and as a result, the nation’s publicly held debt will be $753 billion higher at the end of 2020. Such astronomical debt crowds out other productive investments and will lead to an estimated 670,000 lost job opportunities per year."
No one believes that President Obama does not understand this will cost jobs, money and tank the economy--all at the same time we are forced to ration health care and provide bureaucrats with the ability to kill off the elderly and the sick. Why does Obama hate Americans?
    3. Read Gov’t Report Showing 1 in 7 Hospitalized Medicare Beneficiaries Harmed by Care, by Marian Wang, ProPublica, 11/16/10

Want to assure bad health care? Allow the government to run it. We now know that Medicare patients get poor service and assistance. Could it be because the Feds refuse to pay for the services doctors give? And when they do get paid, they get paid as if they were menial labor instead of health professional with an education and experience.
"One out of every seven hospitalized Medicare beneficiaries experiences an “adverse event,” which means the patient is harmed as a result of medical care. That’s according to a study released today [1] by the Department of Health and Human Services’ inspector general.
The “adverse events” contribute to an estimated 15,000 patient deaths [2] each month and add at least $4.4 billion [3] to the government’s annual Medicare expenses, the report projected. These findings were based on a nationally representative random sample taken from the nearly 1 million Medicare beneficiaries discharged from hospitals in October 2008."
    4. Oil industry fears canceled sales of drilling leases, By JENNIFER A. DLOUHY, Houston Chronicle, 11/15/10

Obama is making sure another American industry is killed by his policies. In this case, it is the oil industry. He is using the BP crisis in the Gulf as an excuse to put roadblocks in front of new oil drilling. Because of that, oil rigs are going to other nations and American investors are no longer putting their money on American soil. Thank you Barack, you really know how to use government to harm families and jobs. The rest of the world is proud of your work, becuase they benefit from you being President of the United States. Too bad Americans are harmed by their own government.
"The government's plan to conduct a new environmental study of the Gulf of Mexico jeopardizes three upcoming auctions of offshore drilling leases and risks further damage to the region's economy, an oil industry official warned Monday.
The environmental analysis - formally announced last week - could take six months to a year, delaying lease sales that have been planned for March and August next year, said Erik Milito, upstream director for the American Petroleum Institute. A third sale planned for early 2012 also is in doubt.
Some industry lobbyists and financial analysts have already predicted that the government will cancel the March sale.".

    5. Court upholds NH law allowing pledge in school, By DAN TUOHY, New Hampshire Union Leader, 11/16/10

A New Hampshire federal court has ruled that it is OK to say the "Pledge of Allegiance" in a classroom. This is the same classroom that teaches diversity, tolerance, how bad the United States is and allows unions to control the government education system. But, we do get to keep the "Pledge" Now we need to start a movement for honest education in the classroom--educate the students, not propagandize them.

"A federal appeals court has upheld the constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance in New Hampshire public schools.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit ruled unanimously Friday in affirming the 2009 dismissal of a lawsuit that a national group of atheists and agnostics filed against the Hanover and Dresden school districts."
