  • LA Union--IBEW--Harms Los Angeles Poor! Again

Here is a union stealing money from the poor and laughing about it.

"Ratepayers are there to be milked, as witnessed by the IBEW Labor Premium where DWP workers are paid substantially more than other comparable City workers and employees of other regional utilities. This premium has been estimated by DWP insiders to be in the range of $200 to $300 million a year. And this not even begin to take into account the inefficiencies caused by overly restrictive work rules.

In very expensive full page ads in The Los Angeles Times and The Daily News, Boss D’Arcy, in a “NOTICE TO DWP RATEPAYERS,” stated, “While reform is needed, this proposal (the Ratepayers Advocate and the Inspector General) has too little deliberation and too little public input.”

But excuse me, where have you been the last three months as the City Council has conducted a series of meetings throughout the City and at City Hall?"

Corruption has many faces--find a union and you will find corruption. I did not have sympathy for the people of Los Angeles--they deserve this level of corruption. As long as they keep people like Mayor Phony Tony in office, they are voting to be victims.
