  • Rider: California Depression vs. the Other States

My good friend Richard Rider has researched a series of statistical databases in regard to the fiscal stability of California.

Clearly, California is in a Depression and will continue for years to come.

I urge you to send this to your friends, before they vote. They need to know what the Democrats and Arnold have done to the families and jobs of California.

    For instance:

"California has the 3rd worst state income tax in the nation. 9.55% tax bracket starts at $46,349 for people filing as individuals. 10.55% tax starts at $1,000,000 hereIn California you can’t keep the money you earn—the State has made itself your partner.

By far the highest state sales tax rate in the nation. 8.25%. 7% is next highest (does not include local sales taxes) Table #15"
    here
In California you can't keep the money you earn, you pay more for the items

California corporate income tax rate (8.84%) is the highest west of the Mississippi (our economic competitors) except for Alaska.

Table #8 -- we are 9th highest nationwide. Here
Corporations have the state as its partner, hence less ability to create jobs in the private sector.

Like addicts, only when we admit we have a problem, and our elected officials admit it, can we solve the problem.

The bad news is that we have probably gone over the tipping point, and need to total reform government, half ways measures, compromised measures, "sensitive" measures will no longer work.

It is time for a regime change in Sacramento and Washington. It is your money, not the governments.
