  • San Diego Chargers Trying to Steal Hundreds of Millions of Tax $$$

The San Diego chargers are a bad football team--but it is owned by wealthy people. How do you get wealthy enough to own an NFL team? By using other people's money.

"The Chargers push for a new football stadium downtown could have received no greater boost than last week 's last-minute bill by state legislators.

This is the biggest decision related to the Chargers' potential downtown stadium at least since the team began seeking public dollars for a project now estimated at $800 million."

The wealthy owners of the San Diego Chargers want to use $800 million of taxpayer money.

And they are close to getting it.

The Mayor and some legislators secretly created a dead of night amendment to a bill at the very end of the Sacramento legislative session to get $6 billion, of tax money for a slush fund--they call the slush fund "redevelopment".

Want to find open corruption in government, audit the "redevelopment" agency, and those who get the tax dollars and see their political donations. This is a bought and paid for slush fund, in most cities, not just San Diego.
