  • Union Upset With Truth About LAUSD Teachers

United Teachers of Los Angeles is the union that teachers must bribe if they are allowed to work in LAUSD.

Now, the LA Times has reported on the statistics of 6,000 teachers and the union is mad. Some teachers are very good and others are very bad--and the union takes bribes from both.

"The newspaper posted cumulative test results for students taking classes from math and English teachers in grades 3-5 in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation's second-largest district.

In an accompanying article in The Times, the paper said parents can now check some elementary teachers by name to see how effective they are in raising student performance on standardized tests."

What a great world, parents can not find out if their childs' teacher is gold or a lemon. Not good for the unions, great for education. This may be the start of real accountability in government education.

    Thank you LA Times.
