  • Unions Demand Menlo Park Go Broke

Unions work against the interest of the workers and the people. To the workers, they demand bribes, in order to work.

For the people Menlo Park in Northern California is a great example.

"Unions representing Menlo Park city workers are expected to file a lawsuit today in an effort to prevent a pension reform initiative from going before voters on the November ballot.

The ballot initiative, spearheaded by Citizens for Fair and Responsible Pension Reform, would reduce pension benefits for new city employees. The organization gathered 2,788 signatures, more than the 1,884 needed to qualify for the ballot. The council in May approved the initiative for the Nov. 2 ballot."

Without the ballot measure--the city council is owned by the union--the city will go bankrupt--it is unable to continue to fund the payoffs to the unions through the pension system.

Second, the unions are openly saying free elections should not happen.

Want to see totalitarianism in action? Look at the unions in Menlo Park--or your hometown.
