The election of 1980 was a victory for those of Faith. Their candidate, Ronald Reagan, won a massive victory.
The 1988 election, after Pat Robertson made an attempt to run for president, was the next election those of Faith made a difference.
In 1998 people of Faith stayed home and the GOP lost. In 2000 George Bush had believers voting, and he barely won.
Now we have Barack Obama, who people though was a man of Faith. But, it took a long time for Christians to realize Obama attended a church that was both anti-Christian, anti-white and anti-Jewish--an anti-Semitic church that was a 180 degrees from the KKK--in this case, whites were the devils.
"Angry over health care reform and the abortion fight it reinvigorated, worried about the expansion of gay rights and frustrated by President Obama's criticisms of Israel, religious conservatives are eager to play a key role in the outcome of the 2010 midterm elections."
In the meantime, his corruption with the phony stimulus plan for the special interests, government employees and the unions were passed. He effort to take over health care, with its high costs, rationing and death panels (due to the rationing), along with its efforts to promote abortion, has hit a nerve of those of honest Faith.
"But the most galvanizing issue working against any Democrat or Republican who voted for health care reform is abortion, Mr. Bauer said.
During the president's first week in office, in January 2009, he reversed a Bush administration ban on aid to international family planning groups that promote abortion.
"That same week he issued the order to close Guantanamo [Bay prison]. We learned then that he cared more about the rights of jihadists than he did about the rights of unborn babies," Mr. Bauer said."
Now the GOP candidates have to show they are the candidate of the Constitution and freedom. That they represent life and lower taxes--along with support for Israel vs. Hamas and the jihadists.
If they do, 2010 will be another 1994. If not, the GOP will pick up a number of seats, but not enough to change Congress or the Senate--and the people of the United States will be the losers.
Remember Obama in November.
