The city of San Jose is cutting employees, including public safety folks. But it has $79 million to give to a billionaire to help him pay for a news stadium.
San Diego is in trouble because of a stadium--now San Jose has an opportunity to say Yes to more cops and No to a bail out of a billionaire.
My guess is that this will pass and for a generation people will ask how did this happen.
