  • LA Times Cutting Size of Paper and Printing Presses

The LA Times has under 1,000,000 circulation, significantly under. Ads are down dramatically. Credibility and Trust has been damaged.

So, The Times is closing one of it two printing facilities AND making the newspaper smaller--from 48 inches to 44 inches--a 6% cut in the size of the paper. And, with its current circulation, only one facility is needed.

By summer, the rumor is, another 100 or so journalists and employees will be working in other places and other industries.

Did I mention the Times is in financial bankruptcy? Some great people work at the Times, but newspapers are having problems.
