Sacramento Taxes Directly Harm Children and Families

Last February the Governor, Democrats and a few GOP'ers decided to cut the child tax credit--now the taxes added by this action have come home to roost. On April 15, middle class and poor families will pay more in taxes, while the rich don't really care. "Because it's a tax credit, not a deduction, the cut amounts to a dollar-for-dollar tax increase of $211 per child." To the poor and middle class, with 3 kids--that is an extra $633 in taxes!
