Note that this story does not mention the number of illegal aliens using our hospitals for free. yes, the story does talk about the uninsured using the hospitals--but they could have told us how many were illegal aliens.
The omission of that number tells me a lot--the number is large and it is identifiable. Let us say that it is one third of those using our hospitals for free. That would equal to $400 million per year lost to these criminals.
Simple process-let the admitting clerk do a E-Verify check--20 seconds and you know if the person is legitimate or an illegal alien. Then the doctor can be called before Homeland Security and the police are called.
Everybody deserves health care--illegal aliens should get theirs in their home nation.
Now you know why California is in financial trouble.
