  • Will "Billboards" Stop Human Trafficking?

Billboards can look pretty. They can sell beer, cars and hamburgers. But can a billboard stop criminals stop the evil of human trafficking?

"U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has put up three Bay Area billboards two in Oakland, one in San Francisco as part of a 15-city outdoor advertising campaign to call attention to the evils of human trafficking.

The Hidden in Plain Sight campaign urges the public to take action if they encounter people who they believe are being sexually exploited or forced to work against their will."

Obama might be able to say he is doing something--hopefully the paper on the billboards are recyclable--but this is as worthless as his word or the "smile" of Nancy Pelosi.

Does anybody, with an IQ over room temperature, really believe a billboard message will stop international criminals? More waste of tax dollars, more paper shuffling instead law enforcement by raiding, arresting and deporting illegal aliens.

End the billboards and get down to work or resign--the boards are just silly.
