  • Water Waste System Could Close Malibu to Families and Businesses

Malibu may be losing thousands of it residents thanks to a bad sewage system.

Government is forcing the people and businesses of Malibu to buy a new sewage system. The cost will close dozens of businesses, immediately upon approval. Hundreds, if not thousands of families will not be able to afford the costs. Even government will be harmed by this. The value of homes in Malibu will go down over night, dramatically, causing loss of property tax revenues.

"Residents in the affected area would be required to pay about $500 a month to cover the cost of hooking into a central sewage system, according to the city's projections. Businesses would face payments of about $20,000 a month for enterprises producing 25,000 gallons of wastewater per day or about $7,000 for those producing 10,000 gallons per day."

How many business can afford a mandated payment of $20,000 or even $7,000 per month for a sewer system? Looks like Obama is going to have to bail out the radical movie stars and those that serve them.

Or, Malibu could become a ghost town run by Knotts Berry Farm.
