  • Sacramento Wants to Pass $18 billion "water" bond

The Guv and legislature have come up with another dandy idea--put the people of California over $18 billion MORE in debt. They want to pass a bond for $9.4 billion, with interest, that will cost $18.8 billion--DEBT.

In 2006 we passed two water bonds, for a total of $20 billion, interest and principal. How about a report on that money first? Let us know how they spent that money, can they be trusted with more money--especially since we can not afford it.

When will Sacramento stop spending new money and trying to reform what they do have? Why do they want to bankrupt the State. Want more water? Open the pumps and stop the phony fish protection actions.

Until the politicians make a priority of people over fish, the money will continue to be wasted. Open the pumps, tell us how you spent the last $20 billion, then ask us to trust you.

Do you trust Sacramento to wisely spend $18 billion on "water"?

Open the pumps and stop the phony fish protection actions.
The only pump I'd like to see turned on is the one that flushes phony politicians and lobbyists out of the management process under the dome. Get this:
Both ruling classes of California's two major parties want the water, and both are using the fish as a tool of extortion.
More water shipped out of the delta will ultimately result in the following:

More illegals to work the increased farming that AG interests are salivating for.

More development so more illegals or "immigrants" can come to California and buy products and services that will be taxed by the government to support the ever growing government support network, or end up in the hands of greedy AG and development interests

Higher water cost, because when you have less water in the area you are siphoning from, it is more expensive to clean it up for use.

The continuation of the poisonous pesticide/herbicide runoff that has been at the core of fish and other aquatic life in California
