  • Another Billion $$ Added to California Deficit

.Democrat State Controller John Chiang noted that on August 1 the California budget had a $16 billion cash deficit. Since then the Governor has lost about $5 billion in lawsuits, on top of several billion previously this year--these suits stopped his and the legislatures illegal spending cuts and policies. We also need to add the $1 billion not to be seen when the Guv does not sell portions of the State Compensation Funds.

In total, the deficit of California on December 31, 2009 will be closer to $30 billion than $20 billion. From 2007 to the phony budget of this year, the total deficit of California was $60 billion. By, June 30, 2010, the three year deficit will be close to $100 billion. The Democrat Chiang said the deficit next year STARTS at $7.4 billion--Dan Walters says the real number is $10 billion.

Along with this is the massive drop of property tax revenues, the pending implosion of CalPers and local pension plans, the continued lawsuit for billions more to be added to the budget, by court order, and you have a State that is being flushed down the toilet with the handle being pulled in Sacramento.

We need real tax cuts, ending of job killer regulations like AB 32 an accountability of government education and an enforcement of the laws against illegal aliens.

What would you do to the budget?
