One reason business comes to California, or stays here is because of the availability of energy.
If the power plants in Carlsbad (San Diego County) are closed, this is another nail in the economic coffin of California. This effort will stop energy to 400,000 homes. Yes, they do have a plan to replace this, but we all know that will take decades--and court cases, environmental reviews, financing, unions, etc. Then in 20-30 years, will we be able to afford the new energy sources?
