  • Government School Lawsuit, if Won, Will Sink State

The schools are going to court to get billions more in funding. How much more? "An extensive Stanford-led study two years ago suggested that California needed to increase funding by as much as 56 percent, or $32 billion in 2007 dollars. But it also cautioned that simply pouring more money into schools without overhauling them would make no sense.

Since that study, declining revenues have forced the state to trim spending, possibly providing more evidence for the contention that California doesn't sufficiently fund its schools."

At a time when the total revenues of the State are under $80 billion--the rest is borrowing and debt--the professional educators want a system of taxation that would cause a million new unemployed people--the parents of the students.

Those folks have no common sense. The corruption of LAUSD alone would finance half the needs of the rest of the State. LAUSD is building new schools as enrollment is tanking and students are begging and pleading to get into charter schools and out from under the political classrooms run by radicals in the unions, with permission of the Democrat school board.

Now you know why California is in economic trouble, educated people without common sense.
