  • Charter and private schools might not make the grade either

New York City is spending $20,000 per pupil, yet the results are not different. Imagine LAUSD with $20,000 per student--every corrupt janitor would be in hog heaven.

To liberals, money equals success. The author talks about the ultimately corrupt cities of New York and Philadelphia, as if their results are the same as those in Los Angeles.

This is another silly LA Times effort to protect the corrupt unions. The Times is saying that parents are too stupid to have a say in their children education--only unions know best.

Any wonder the Times is losing subscribers as fast as the State of California is losing revenues?

The far left only knows how to throw money at a problem, not how to fix it, as though lack of funding is always the problem. The thought that the people running things don't have a clue as to what would work to fix it just doesn't even factor into their equation of getting any progress done. It's always throw more money at it.

The Dallas Morning News, LONG a PRO-illegal newspaper, has also supported ABSURD, UNFAIR, and COSTLY public-school programs such as MULTILINGUAL education and MULTICULTURAL studies that applaud EVERY culture except the MAINSTREAM AMERICAN culture. My legal resident Brazilian friend, a former Dallas elementary public school teacher, indicated that NO multicultural cirriculum is TRULY inclusive unless ALL cultures are accepted and respected. Well, in 2007, the Dallas Morning News really OUTDID themselves by proclaiming the ILLEGAL ALIEN as THEIR Texan of the Year! That was the LAST straw for countless patriots and the paper's readership has been DECLINING EVER since! Early this year, they had to UP the PRICE of the daily edition from 75 cents to 1 dollar, and the price of the Sunday edition went up from $1.50 to $2,then just last May to $3!
