One court is demanding we spend $8 billion to make criminals comfortable in prison. Now we have another court saying to have to spend a half a billion more on Medi-Cal. Of course in September we run out of cash, so does it really matter?
Courts need to understand they can order all they want, but it is their rulings, along with the irresponsible legislators running loose in Sacramento that have bankrupted the State and its businesses and families.
The ruling should be made into a Saturday Night Live skit, our elected officials should be able to control our finances, even as we go into bankruptcy.
Were I Governor I would take every dime of the $500 million from education and tell the unions to take it up with the courts. Let the unions try to get the money back.
