  • Brown Stops Arnolds Sweetheart Deal for Fabian Nunez Client

Arnold demanded that California sell a series of government buildings. He even went to court to sell them, one of which, the OC Fairgrounds, the State does not even own.

After he left office we found out why. The developer that was trying to buy many of them had a lobbyist representing his interests. The name of the lobbyist? Fabian Nunez, close friend of Arnold. Father of a murderous son, who had nine years of a prison sentence taken off by his good friend Arnold.. This deal had the smell of dead fish.

"Saying it will save taxpayers $6 billion dollars over the next 35 years, Gov. Jerry Brown has called off former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s plan to sell and then lease back 11 state properties.

“The sale and leaseback proposal was short-sighted and would have cost taxpayers billions of dollars in the long-run,” says Mr. Brown. “Selling and leasing back the state’s buildings for one-time gains is not prudent."

Congratulations to Jerry Brown for doing the right thing.
