San Diego is one of the most mismanaged cities in the nation. It is bankrupt because City Hall sold out to the unions and the pension system will bring it down.
Then the Mayor decided that using money meant for schools and public safety should instead be used, through the Redevelopment Agency, for a stadium for a billionaire.
Worse, while helping billionaires the Mayor and Council are putting the safety of the community at stake.
"When this fiscal year began last July, 133 vacant positions were cut from the department’s budget. Since then, 135 more positions have gone unfilled, leaving the department with 1,856 staff members.
Losing more than 10 percent of its staff has forced the department to prioritize."
Mayor Sanders has made a decision; stadiums are needed more than cops. When is this guy leaving office?
