Glad to see the strong leadership of Senator Sam Blakeslee in the fight to make government transparent.

Official summary: Would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to require that the final language of a Budget Bill or bill implementing a Budget Bill be in print for public review for not less than 72 hours prior to a Legislative vote."
Blakeslee has the radical idea that the people of California have the right to know what is in a bill BEFORE it is passed. For years the sleaze in the Capitol have made it hard for the public to speak out for or against a bill, but hiding it from public view.
Send a letter or call your Sacramento representative asking them to support. SB 17--open government to the governed.
