  • Why America is Bankrupt: $15 Million in Taxpayer Money, San Fran Gets Charging Statio

Once again, the taxpayers are being lied to by government.

We are told that all electric vehicles save money--yet San Fran is using tax dollars to build recharging stations. If this was a good idea, private business would pay for it instead of government stealing money from the poor for the rich to have Politically Correct cars. BTW, the cars will cost all taxpayers $7500 in tax credits--so we all pay for the corruption of Washington.

"San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom celebrated this afternoon the installation of the first commercially owned electric plug-in vehicle charging stations in the city.

The two stations, located in Priority Parking’s lot on Pier 27, are part of what Newsom said was a “long-term commitment we have made to address greenhouse gas emissions and the way we use energy.”

10 more charging stations will be installed in San Francisco and they may also be found in 13 other cities around San Francisco. More power to them, except the cost: $15 million in “stimulus” money paid for them. Coulomb Technologies, which won the contract, is headed by Richard Lowenthal:"

Corruption has many faces; San Fran is one of them.
