    1. Examiner Editorial: New EPA regs would kill jobs, stall economy, Washington Examiner, 11/12/1

If AB 32 does not completely kill the economy of California, the EPA will. It has already determined that AB 32 was not strong enough for the Central Valley, now the EPA will make rues that close down the Valley.

    "
It sounds innocuous enough. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued new guidelines Thursday requiring state and local authorities that issue pollution permits based on federal standards to use the "Best Available Control Technology," or BACT. The stated goal is to achieve a 20 percent reduction in greenhouse gases by 2020. Most of the facilities affected by the new guidelines will likely be power plants, refineries and cement production operations. What the BACT guidelines simply mean, according to the agency, is this: "After taking into account technical feasibility, cost and other economic, environmental and energy considerations, permitting authorities should narrow the options and select the best one. EPA anticipates that, in most cases, this process will show that the most cost effective way for industry to reduce GHG emissions will be through energy efficiency."

This should be enough to kill the national economy and keep it in a Depression for years to come.

    2. Obama's commission misdiagnoses Medicare cost crisis, By: Diana Furchtgott-Roth, Washington Examiner11/12/10

Obama is cutting payments to doctors for care for the elderly. In the real world, this is called rationing. doctors will now stop taking these patients.

"Yet, while encouraging seniors to shop around by proposing to expand the amount they pay for Medicare services, the commission wants to preserve the basic structure of cost controls that haven't worked before and are unlikely to work in future.
The commission's report is especially relevant because on Dec. 1 all Medicare physicians will face a 23 percent cut in rates, postponed from June. Reimbursements will decline an additional 2 percent in January.
The commission wants to fund the cuts by "asking doctors and other health care providers, lawyers, and individuals to take responsibility for slowing health care costs," in other words, by paying doctors less.
Want to kill off the elderly as Paul Krugman of the NY Times wants, stop giving them health care. That is the Obama way.
    3. Fed Push Wasteful Spending on Railroads, Capitol Commentary,11/14/10
If you want government to lose money, hand over fist, create a government transportation system. That is what the new governors of Ohio and Wisconsin understand. Obama is demanding the people of these States to raise taxes to pay for his choo-choo train--guess he smokes with Arnold.
"How does it make you as a taxpayer feel when you hear that the Obama administration is trying to push $1.2 billion of our money on two states that don’t want it so they can build railroads that are estimated to lose money every year they are in service?
Ray LaHood wants to send Ohio $400 million to build a rail line that will lose $17 million for local taxpayers every year. Wisconsin has the change to lose between $7.5 and $15 million per year on the rail line the Feds want them to build."
    4. Wow -- Check Out How Blatantly Our Government Misled Us With The October Jobs Numbers!, Henry Blodget, Business Insider,11/14/10
Do sane people believe anything the government tells us? Obama claimed his health plan had no death panels--we know that was a lie. To lessen the losses of Democrats at the polls on November 2, the Obama Labor Department lied about unemployment in the nation."
"But it turns out that there was a simple reason why the payroll numbers looked so good--a reason that had nothing to do with underlying strength of the jobs market.
    What was that reason?
The government changed the "seasonal adjustment" it made to the payroll numbers--and, in so doing, boosted the number of "jobs" created in October by 100,000."

    5. The State Government Deconstructors, New Geography
    , by Robert J. Cristiano 11/15/2010

Republican Governors are doing the job the people wanted. In Virginia, New Jersey and Indiana the GOP governors are cutting programs, agencies and government employment. This is a start.

"“Deconstructors,” are what Alexander Hamilton had in mind when he wrote in The Federalist that “energy in the executive is a leading character in the definition of good government.”

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was the first Deconstructor to emerge. He wasted no time when he was sworn into office in January of 2010, declaring a fiscal state of emergency and freezing billions of spending. This week he announced 1,200 more public workers will get the axe come January. Governor “Wrecking Ball” is attracting plenty of national attention."
