Immigration cases being tossed by the hundreds, Docket review pulls curtain back on procedure by Homeland Security, By SUSAN CARROLL, HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 10/17/10 There are two ways for President Obama to provide amnesty of illegal aliens. He can declare an amnesty, via Executive Order. If he did that it would be all over the news and he would catch fire for this outrageous act..
Or he could just instruct the Homeland Security folks to ask judges to dismiss charges against illegal aliens--that is behind closed doors, no need to issue a public statement.
"In the month after Homeland Security officials started a review of Houston's immigration court docket, immigration judges dismissed more than 200 cases, an increase of more than 700 percent from the prior month, new data shows.
The number of dismissals in Houston courts reached 217 in August up from just 27 in July, according to data from the Executive Office for Immigration Review, which administers the nation's immigration court system."
Barack Obama is giving Presidential amnesty to illegal aliens in Houston. Wonder where else this exists?

Teachers Picket as One of Michigan's Wealthiest School Districts Faces Big Deficit, By Michael Van Beek, Michigan Capitol Confidential,10/14/10 Bullies tell the people, "give us what we want or we will hurt you." In Michigan the goons, unions are telling parents, either we get the money we want or your children will be harmed--by us.
"Michigan and local taxpayers provided the West Bloomfield School District with more than $13,500 per student in 2008-2009, yet it still faces a $1.7 million deficit this year and $3.8 million next year. Employee compensation makes up 85 percent of the budget, so the district has asked teachers to help close the gap with revisions to their union contract. Their response was to picket, which they did Monday night."
This is what happens when government creates a monopoly, and then the monopoly owns the government. Make unions voluntary and the teachers and children succeed--otherwise, the totalitarians will own the schools and future of your children--your choice.
3. Mark Hemingway: Will November be the death knell for big labor unions? By: Mark Hemingway, Washington Examiner, 10/17/10
The union pensions plans have failed--now they need government bailout money. That is why they are spending tens of millions to elect Democrats--no GOP'er will bail out extortionists.
"Under "last man standing" accounting rules, if five companies are in a plan and four go bankrupt, the fifth company is responsible for meeting the pension obligations for the employees of the other four companies.
What this means is that companies with union labor often have pension liabilities that are several multiples higher than the pension expenditures they report -- the Kroger grocery store chain shocked analysts last year when it disclosed its multiemployer pension liabilities more than doubled in a year to $1.2 billion."
Private companies, along with unions can go bankrupt thanks to the union pension plans. Maybe if the firms refused to hire people who paid bribes to hold jobs, they would not put shareholder equity in such jeopardy.
4. Gregory Kane: O'Malley's weak pander to illegal immigrants as "new Americans", By: Gregory Kane, Washington Examiner 10/17/10:
To a Democrat, a law breaker is a great American--if if they are illegal aliens. In Maryland, the Democrat Governor truly believes illegal aliens are gems.
"Did I hear Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, D, right during his second debate with former Republican Gov. Robert Ehrlich? Did O'Malley call illegal immigrants "new Americans"?
Good thing I recorded that debate on a DVD. I replayed it Saturday night, and O'Malley's exact quote was this, part of his response to a question about illegal immigration.
"There is this nativism rising up and this desire to blame new Americans for the problems in our economy."
To a Democrat, enforcing our immigration laws is a criminal, racist act. Another reason to defeat all Democrats, our government is in the hands of criminal supporters.

Democrats are claiming the U.S. Chamber is taking political money from foreign sources. That is not true. But, the Democrats have PAC's that look like they take illegal foreign money.
"This is not foreign money per-se, but these PACs are certainly populated by people who work for foreign companies," said Dave Levinthal, a spokesman for the Center for Responsive Politics.
Foreign companies and foreign governments can lobby Congress, and that is probably one area where they have a measurable effect on politics, Levinthal explained. Foreign-subsidiary political action committees are about as close as you can get.
Republicans with groups under fire from the White House say the hefty campaign contributions illustrate Democratic hypocrisy."
