  • Immigration enforcement union took a no-confidence vote in its leadership

The union representing the ICE workers voted 259-0 for a "no confidence" resolution for the political leadership of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. This is the agency mandated to enforce our immigration laws.

Why this unanimous vote? "In June, the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council an AFL-CIO affiliate and affiliated local councils cast a unanimous 259-0 vote of no confidence in ICE Director John Morton and Assistant Director Phyllis Coven. In a letter announcing the vote, the National Council criticized the directors for misguided and reckless initiatives, and said their leaders have abandoned the Agencys core mission of enforcing United States immigration laws and providing for public safety, and have instead directed their attention to campaigning for policies and programs related to amnesty.”

As we already know, Obama and his administration have no intention of fully enforcing our laws. Instead they want to give illegal aliens amnesty, and then they will no longer by illegal.

On that day I can imagine the Obama press release headline "Obama cuts illegal aliens in U.S. by 99%". It would be the truth. And it is a disaster for the Rule of Law--at that point why should anybody obey the law.

When a union notices and denounces government corruption, you know it has to be bad.
