  • California may revamp Cash for Appliances

California can not even give away money without problems.

"While some states blew through their federal cash-for-appliance money in a matter of days, California still has at least 83 percent of its rebate pot available three weeks after its launch.

That's mainly because California offered rebates on fewer types of appliances than many states, imposed higher energy standards, and required consumers to have their new appliance installed and their old one carted away for recycling before they could mail in the five-piece rebate application. In some states, consumers could reserve a rebate before they even purchased the appliance."

California is a State that does not work. If you are unable to give away money, you know you have trouble.

Please, name a segment or policy from Sacramento that works? Education, a failure, bad roads. Deficits larger than most State budgets, pensions that are unsustainable and a debt, including everything, is north of $800 billion. When you can't even give money away, you know the system is itself a failure.
