Thanks to unions, when teachers are laid off, the bad get to stay and good ones go. Now, Arnold has added bad teachers in government schools to his legacy.
"Both Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the state Board of Education defendants in the case are taking the position that they agree with the plaintiffs. Their message: Dont sue us. Were on the side of kids in low-income schools whose teachers have been handed pink slips in disproportionate numbers."
Again, the Governor has decided to side with his union friends against the best interests of education and our children.
His legacy: massive deficits, massive debts, unsustainable pensions, criminals given early release, the high taxes and AB 32.
Now he has made sure that minorities, held hostage in government schools do not get the best teachers, only teachers willing to pay bribes.
California is in trouble. No Third Term. Eight months and counting.
