  • Can the GOP Win 80 House Seats in 2010? Yes

    Here is the story.

We have high unemployment and a growing, massive deficit. Congress has radical ideas that everybody understands would kill more jobs, harm revenues and grow the deficit. Congress and the President promoted policies " which created business cartels, set prices and imposed more than 500 "codes" governing prices, wages and workweeks."

We are about to have a ""depression within a depression." No, I am not talking about the Obama Administration--I am talking about the Franklin Roosevelt Administration--1937-8.

At the end of the day, "The result: Democrats lost 80 seats in the 1938 election, after gaining seats in 1930, 1932, 1934 and 1936."

Today the unemployment rate nationally hit 10.2% and should hit 11% by Spring. Even the Administration admits unemployment will be at least 10.5% in a year. That actually means, with the under employed and those who quit looking, real unemployment is about 20%.

By next year the Democrats and Obama will totally own the economy. There are 69 Democrats serving in seats won by McCain (a VERY weak candidate).

We might see a blowout to match 1938. Watch this space as the 2010 elections proceed. What do you think will happen?
