  • State Offers $$ to Keep NUMMI Open, Should Change Regulations

The State of California wants to pay off NUMMI, an auto plant in the Bay Area, to keep it open. Government wants to use tax dollars to bribe the owners from killing 40,000 jobs.

There is a cheaper way to do it, and, without a dollar in bribes from the taxpayer. All government has to do is THINK about how this problem came about. AB 32, high taxes, unpredictable and unreasonable regulations and a government that is not stable from moment to moment. When government "offers" $29 million in interest free loans they are stealing food and shelter from the poor. The money will not hide AB 32 and the rest of the job killers from Sacramento.

We do not need incentives, we need legitimate regulations.
