  • Voters Said NO to Peripheral Canal--State Preparing to Build it Anyway

In the early 1980's the people of California voted NO on a ballot measure which would have authorized the building of a peripheral canal. The vote was clear--NO CANAL.

Twenty Five years later, the government is preparing to build the canal--no authorization, no new vote of the people, no vote of the legislature--just the agencies taking our money, stealing it, to prepare for the building of a canal.

Does anybody in government find this wrong? The Governor stopped the corruption of the Nursing Commission and fired a bunch of people.

Will Arnold stop this abuse of the taxpayer, fire folks and sue those responsible for misusing tax dollars.

This is why government can not be trusted--we vote, they refuse to listen.

Now you know this is an agency that has way too much money--it can be cut in half, with all those involved fired.

What do you think, is this theft or just government as usual. Shame on us for allowing this.
