On April 3, 2017, the Secretary of State (SOS) will turn on the functionality thatautomatically expires public safety officer’s confidential voter status two years fromhis/her current application date (see Elections Code section 2166.7). In preparation forthis VoteCal confidential voter functionality, the SOS is providing each county with areport listing the public safety officers with confidential statuses expiring on or beforeJune 30, 2017.
