Afghan border police compounds near completion

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is finalizing construction of the $7.3 million Ala Jirga border police headquarters compound, and the $6.2 million compound in Sallamat, and inspected the sites Nov. 24, 2011, as part of a multipurpose mission.
