  • Second Stimulus Is Actualy The Third

Hold on to your kids futures, and your own for that matter, because there's alread talk about a misnamed second stimulus package. The previous one was apparently not leveraging the future of America quite enough. Don't let these propagandists fool you. This would be the third stimulus, because the first one came when Bush was nearing the end of his term. Seems like the new administration cannot count either

A new stimulus package’s costs would have to come out of the body of the Budget. Federal tax receipts are dropping rapidly. The need for federal money is increasing, particularly among crippled states and municipalities. The Treasury could try to test the limits of its borrowing power by asking world capital markets to absorb another several hundred billion in American debt by financing a second stimulus package, but it dare not do that. The Administration has been warned too often that the country is overextended and people in The White House say that they lose sleep over the expanding national debt

The one enacted under former President Bush did NOT work, and one would think that Obama and company would have LEARNED from that gaffe.

You would think that Bush (and Obama, for that matter) would've learned from watching the Japanese attempt to do the same thing in the 90's. They tried repeatedly to have government spend and employ that nation's way out of the burst bubble economy.
