Default Star Trek movie

Saw the new Star Trek movie last night. Thought the story was pretty corny and some of the acting a little campy, but it was entertaining though. I think the writing followed the old style that was evident in the original TV series, and if that was what they were aiming to do, they scored a direct hit. I wished they would have grown out of that, but then again, I don't know everything
