  • Sacramento Hijacks US-Mexico Treaty To Further Bilingualism

Hanging outside the Sacramento County Supervisors meeting room are these documents. Personally, I see this as a further attempt to continue merging mexico and their citizens back with California. Bilingualism was a necessity in drafting documents between governments that predominatly speak different languages. Highlighting it as if it were the main point of the treaty is pure propaganda, and seems intended to use historical record as a basis to further spanish language translations in our local government.
