      Glory - yes
      Jean - yes
      Heather - yes
      Jeremy - yes
      Blondee - maybe
      PD - maybe
      DeathtoLiberalism/AmericanResolve - probably
Black Cats - probably, if Chelene shows
      BRI-M - doubtful
      Phil - doubtful
      Bob - doubtful
      Weasel - doubtful
      Ohighlass - doubtful
RIM - probably if the temp. is below 72 degrees
A couple of comments. Be nice to RIM. She's a great lady, and my hat's off to her.

Ohighlass, is interesting. After the sanctuary church protest in Simi Valley, she had words with myself and another poster over why OldPreach and others asked, no, demanded, that skinheads and their two leaders leave the protest area. Not a very bright person, IMHO.

The board posters are largely what remains of SOS and quarterback discussions don't involve committing to a rally and actually doing something.
I need to chew on this for a bit before I comment further.

This is not commentary on the "value" of any of these people. I know and like most of them (I love RIM!). I'm just stating facts: If SOS threw an event, these are the current members who might show up ... followed by the likelihood that they'd be there.

It's reality. SOS has been destroyed from within, insofar as throwing rallies and events is concerned. Chelene Nightingale systematically alienated a large chunk of the most valuable members. She was a one person wrecking crew. You don't even have to look further than the population of this board to see some evidence of what I'm talking about.

As a matter of necessity, Save Our State must now get folks from outside the organization to participate at public events. The vast majority of the doers left or got booted.

It was an activist organization. It has become a message board with a decent amount of traffic populated by a whole lot of do littles ... who apparently seem to pride themselves now on computer game prowess and name calling. That is what SOS has disintegrated into.

Chelene is not a one person wrecking crew. She has required the complicity of others to accomplish her nefarious tasks. Some unwittingly.
OhighLass has always been a favored tenured member of mine. I wasn't near the situation you spoke of, but even it it were as portrayed, It was only one event and she's been involved in many others that were not thought of that way. Point is, I'd encourage a second look overall. I'd also add, that to have been in her line of work you have to have some smarts.

The SOS thing is pretty dismal. I know they banned me and all, but while I was administrator there I created up to 20 different screen names to run tests on the forum when people would say they were having trouble registering, plus a couple more from the old days that I never used then. So I can, and do sign on from time to time to have a look around. I see the same old type of thread closings to protect her highness among other things, and I doubt that's going to encourage anyone to stick their necks out in an attempt at revival. The video game thing is pretty pedestrian. AZ wanted to load those on here when I let him do some work on the forum awhile back, but I rejected that out of hand. I was stunned to see those video game emoticons on the very top of the page. That kind of sets the new tone for things. When things get really bad, maybe he'll add some porn?
SOS may have become a placebo for what ails people about illegals. Sign up, meet a few other people and complain to one another for relief, then play some videogames to take your mind off things. There now; Don't you feel better....

By the way; I'm still outraged. I'm just off course for a few days with the recent death in the family, and there are so many relatives in town and all, but I did go over and re-letter the sign on one side last night for a few upcoming tours of duty in that regard. As usual, videos will be forthcoming

We disagree. Yes, she has a small handful of supporters, but they're not necessary to what she does and how she causes trouble. The Bobby XD9's and Arizona Patriots of the world do not make her impact possible, they just amplify it a little. Chelene's conduct has required the complicity of one individual, Joe Turner. But for him hooking her up with power over the message board, none of this would have ever taken place. The extent and limit of her power is the breadth and width of the SOS board. She can boot you off the board and that's it. Without the above-described, she's another pretty girl throwing fits and spouting nonsense, and there's certainly nothing unusual our out of the ordinary about that.

That's not precisely what I meant, but I do agree on the Turner thing. Never understood that really.

Pocho, there is probably more to this blunted response to the BP agents killing than just our movement. I did some checking last night and all the forums I belong to are down in action. Two of the 2nd amendment groups I belong to are quiet as hell in the face of advancing legislation from federal, state, and local bodies. My email box yesterday was nearly empty for a change, and I also checked the one place that is a good indicator of people in action on the keyboard: Craigslist rants and raves. I saw a post in there that was asking where everyone was today

I have been mulling something over, and I've come to a decision about it. This is only somewhat pertinent to this thread due the tangent subject of why there was not enough anger to get people at SOS back to the streets or even post about the issue of the BP agents murder. The flow of information at SOS was always restricted, and many of the threads and sections had been removed to make way for whatever new brand of sliced bread the management instituted or was compelled to. So the question is, what happened to the movement and specifically, what happened to the SOS movement? I propose that we dissect it from the real facts as opposed to trying to remember them, or argue about the specifics in their absence. To solve that problem, I have databases from my time in the management, and I should be able to upload them here after creating a special section. It'll be a few months old, but then we can have access to our old posts and threads for research or even continuance. I have to set this forum up for it, and it may take a few more days, but look for it in less than a week. Now bear in mind that if I can do this in entirety, we may also see the management area where discussions were held in a semi secluded forum, so you may read some things about ourselves that were the opinions of management at that time, and based upon information that was available to them at those moments. Some of this might actually sting a little, but it is my belief that we can learn more from it if we do not shelter ourselves from the facts in their entirety.

What? You joke, of course. I have no doubt that, given my contributions, i was only spoken of in reverential terms by Chelene, Blondee, Mike and the like ... right? ;^)

Well, me being "the like" at one time, I guess I'll find out if that apology I made to you a few months ago was enough.

You picked the right target for derision. I'm so grossly insensitive, unimpressed with sentiments that aren't my own, generally aloof, and socially out-of-step that few things said about me concern me half as much as they probably should. In short, I'm about as difficult a person to offend as you'll find so don't sweat it.

Let's join forces and try to pick up the pieces while Chelene is running for governor.

She's actually still running? Haven't heard a word from her camp lately. thought they already folded the tent when hordes of loyalists didn't mob them with donations after the announcement

As far as I know, Chelene is still in the California gubernatorial race. The time to renovate SOS is NOW while she is still occupied with her political campaign.

SOS is a lost cause. The only thing that can be done is to start all over, and this time keep the Nightingale loyalists off the board.
