  • California: Is An All-Cuts Budget Ahead?

Two years ago Arnold tried to get us to increase our taxes by about $25 billion--and we gave a resounding NO--even with his special interests paying tens of millions to shove this tax increase down our throats.

Now, Jerry Brown thinks he can use money stolen from workers by unions to shove a $50 billion tax increase down our throats.

Wonder if he knows that California has the highest rate of taxes and foreclosures. Does Brown care that we have a real unemployment rate of close to 25%?

Yet, he wants, like Arnold, to take money from children, families and businesses, and give it to unions and special interests. Maybe if he got rid of the illegal aliens, he would not need the $50 billion. Maybe if he didn't want to pay back unions or build a $200 billion choo choo train, we would not be broke?

The great news is that after the next tax ballot loss (none have passed since about 1993.) Jerry will be forced to do the right thing--after wasting $72 million of tax money on a failed election--he will need to cut another $20 billion or more to stop default on bonds and 100,000 layoffs.
